Lee Bishop and Ed Worth from the National Nuclear Security Administration's Los Alamos Site Office will speak about progress on environmental monitoring and clean up and disposal of transuranic waste at LANL. Also on long- term disposal of radioactive waste at WIPP. They will address recent changes in the agreement between New Mexico Environmental Department and LANL regarding the timetable and monitoring of cleanup of LANL's legacy waste. Bring your questions about these issues and about radioactive waste storage in general. (Lee Bishop was previously involved with the Yucca Mountain project)
